Ruim 42 jaar toerde Oscar Benton met zijn Blues Band langs de zalen van Europa en scoorde hij zelfs een internationale hit met “Bensonhurst Blues”. Wegens gezondheidsredenen moet de geboren Haarlemmer helaas een punt achter zijn carrière zetten. Afgelopen november gaf hij zijn afscheidsconcert en zowel de audio- als videoregistratie daarvan vind je op deze cd+dvd. Geproduceerd door Tony Vos (Cuby & The Blizzards, Boudewijn de Groot, Ekseption) en aangevuld met acht studiotracks uit zijn Phonogram-tijd.
